KidSuper
Colm Dillane started KidSuper in Brooklyn in 2010 while studying at NYU. He turned a small T-shirt business into a fashion brand known for painted graphics, patchwork designs, and playful artwork. What started in a dorm room later grew into a full studio on Broadway and built a strong local following.
The Journey
KidSuper faced rejection twice before earning a place on the Paris Fashion Week calendar. On its third attempt, Dillane presented the KidSuper collection in 2020. The brand soon gained wider attention. In 2021, Dillane won the Karl Lagerfeld Prize at the LVMH Prize. In January 2023, Dillane took on the creative direction of Louis Vuitton’s men’s fashion show. The opportunity brought wider attention to his work and marked another step in KidSuper’s story.
What Makes KidSuper Different
KidSuper treats clothing as a canvas for original artwork. Its collections combine fashion, illustration, painting, and playful graphics to create pieces with a personal and artistic feel. The brand has also worked with names such as PUMA, Coca-Cola, Alice + Olivia, and UGG. These partnerships have helped KidSuper reach new audiences while keeping its distinct visual identity. At the heart of KidSuper is Colm Dillane’s approach to fashion. He built the brand around creativity, self-expression, and the idea that clothing can tell a story. From a small Brooklyn T-shirt project to international fashion shows, KidSuper continues to connect streetwear with art while reflecting its founder’s background and vision.
